We are much more than happy to invite you to live together one of the most special Catalan journeys…. St John’s Night or “La Nit de Sant Joan”… the longest night of all year!!

As usual, we will go deeper on the historical topic related to this special date and we will first take our bus and drive 30mins away from Barcelona to visit a typical Catalan “Celler” of the XV’ Century located in the “Maresme area”…. A typical wine area with one of the most famous catalan white & red wines…

 We will, OF COURSE!, take the opportunity to delight with a different taste of some of the wines this catalan family is taking care for more than 200 years…

 After such an special beginning, we will take back our bus and drive (15 mins.) towards the beach…. Montgat is the village where our “Chiringuito” will be waiting for us….

 We call “Chiringuito” to this small and simple restaurants, located right into the beach and provisionary built in the sand…

 Shoes off, sunset, relax and….. Start working on our “Foguera” (bonfire)… the main symbol of this Party!!

We will prepare a typical food for this Day… a big “Sardinada” (sardines cooked directly in the coals and barbecued)! Yeah!! Enjoy!! Salads – iberic cold meats – SARDINADA – watermelon – “Coca” de Sant Joan – “sangría” or beverage to choose,…

 …….. and something else that you will discover “in-situ” the “Ritual de les mongetes”…. To Discover!! ;-)
